Ultimate 30 Day Challenge List

30 day challenge ideas!

We’ve compiled the ultimate list of 30 day challenge ideas. Below are challenges that we’ve: completed, failed, or haven’t tried. Comment with your favorite 30 day challenge and we will add it to the list.

*this is an on going list, check back for new ideas.*

  1. No eating or drinking out. (Completed November 2017)
  2. Whole 30 (Completed November/December)
  3. Using your cellphone as a phone. i.e. only making phone calls (Completed December 2017)
  4. Read the Bible Daily–using the One Year Bible. (Completed January 2018, Ongoing)
  5. No alcohol. (Completed two times in 2017)
  6. Create a product, start an Etsy business in 30 days.
  7. Post 30 selfies in 30 days.
  8. Raise money for a cause you support on GoFundme.
  9. 30 minutes of intentional conversation with spouse.
  10. Workout for 30 mins daily (Failed in 2011)
  11. 30 days to start a business. ex. ecommerce store or subscription box.
  12. 30 days of measuring food–experimenting with portion control.
  13. No gossiping. (Failed miserably)
  14. 3hr. daily digital detox, preferably in the evening hours.
  15. 30 days of thankfulness–post on social media.
  16. Use Pavlok to break a habit in 30 days. (Completed)
  17. Complete a major household project.
  18. Intensively try a new hobby.(Failed July 2015)
  19. Learn about a subject that interest your spouse.
  20. 30 days of being a traditional “50’s housewife”
  21. Become an idea machine: Write down 10 ideas every day.
  22. Give a bottle of hot sauce to a stranger every day.
  23. Pick up the house for 30 mins daily (we are the messiest people we know)
  24. Wear the same outfit for a month.
  25. Cook meals with 5 ingredients or less.
  26. Practice Yoga daily. (Completed using Yoga with Adriene’s youtube channel )
  27. 10 pushups every day.
  28. Run 1 min, 2 mins, 3mins…30 mins.
  29. Intentionally PLAY with our son and dog for X amount of time.
  30. Respond to everyone’s Instagram story for a month.
  31. Cook my way through an entire cookbook.(Coming Soon!)
  32. No added sugar for 30 days.
  33. No social media. (Completed August 2015)
  34. Go Gluten-free (Our first challenge we did together back in 2011!)
  35. Go Vegan (Completed September 2015)
  36. Give up Facebook. (Completed)
  37. Write a handwritten letter to a different person every day. (Completed 2014)
  38. Read every day, or finish X amount of books in 30 days. (Completed)
  39. Have sex with your spouse every day.
  40. Don’t buy anything on Amazon.
  41. Give a different person a gift every day.
  42. Call and talk to one of your parents daily.
  43. Wake up at earlier, whatever that means to you.
  44. Create and stick to a morning routine.
  45. Bring a gift to a different neighbor every day.
  46. Try “Morning Pages” for a month. Free-write three pages every morning.
  47. Reconnect or reach out to an old friend daily.
  48. Only cook dinner with recipes from one cuisine that’s unfamiliar to you.
  49. Purge: Give away, throw something away, clean out an area every day.
  50. Getting outside daily–ex. go on a meditative walk.
